Opinion about "Arrugas"

The Movie "Arrugas", we have found a movie that shows how we choose the easy way and get rid of the problems, in this case of our own elders. It also teaches us the few resources have the family and for placing her father in a nursing home need to sell his flat and move to a cheaper place. In addition, his father left the residence forgotten and only remember him at Christmas.

The exclusion of older people with more difficulties is another problem that appear in this film, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, schizophrenia.

The film seemed to us an example of how "suffering"-if we may say in some way- older people today. Over the years the technology has changed and with it the personality of those who are now young. We become very dependent with technology and close the window to the world, leaving the elderly the hardest hit by these changes.

Respect for the elderly is a complex issue, in which the elderly feel displaced and even intimidated by the youth of today and new technologies. It is very important to have a respect for the elderly, as well as in Japan have a special day for them (third Monday in September). Just as they took care of us when we are small now older is our duty to help and comfort them as we can.
